Elm Park 50th Birthday Party

We launched our Celebration Inquiry with a huge party for Elm Park School. This year our school will turn 50! We had a great day with our school friends and our whanau.

"I blew big bubbles at the party. I liked the party so much."

We are learning to write for an audience and publish quality work to share.

I am learning to make the beginning and end sounds

I am learning to make the beginning and end sounds in unknown words.  I need to get my mouth ready to make the sound and this activity helps me remember.

I am learning to know doubles to 10

Savelii, you are able to match the double numbers to 10.  Next we will be working on knowing the doubles to 20.

"I can use my fingers to help me work out my doubles.  I know what double 5 is - 10" said Savelii
