I can identify thirds and eighths of shapes and objects I can show that a fraction is part of a whole by using materials or images
The Hexagons group had a race to see who could match up all the fractions with the correct shape pictures first. Congratulations Sufyan and Savelii for coming second in this game!

I am learning to find fractions of shapes by looking at the fraction. The top number tells me how many parts are coloured in and the bottom number tells me how many parts there are in the shape. I found this OK but need to practise this at home.
